Selection of works is oganised in three ways:
- Direct calls in categories A, B, C and D for participation is delegated to national commissioners as honorable members of BAB society. National commissioners are appointed by BAB commissioner and the assembly for each BAB biennial manifestation and are respected architects in their country. They are editors of the national parts of the main exhibition,
- Direct calls in cathegories E and F is delegated to the members of BAB wider assembly,
- Open competition is enabled in all categories when the selection of the works from open competition will be done by national commissioners and BAB assembly.

BAB team is also announcing participation from countries of HUNGARY and BULGARIA.
