Balkan Architectural Biennale – BAB is inviting audience to the Opening ceremony of Biennial exhibition 2025: NEW BAUHAUS ON BALKAN, on 12th of November 2025 at 18.00, Salon of Belgrade City Museum, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 30, Belgrade, SERBIA.
This Biennial exhibition enlightens Bauhaus ideals among Balkan architecture: sustainability, eco-design, community engagement, globalism and local identities, embracing the Bauhaus principles of simplicity, functionality, and holism. Awarded designs and publications showed adaptation to NEB ideals within unique cultural context, creating buildings and approaches that are both modern, addressing NEB Agenda, and rooted in tradition. Sustainability is also a key focus incorporating green design features and energy-efficient technologies. Community engagement is another important aspect, with architects and residents working together to create inclusive spaces, inviting and reflective of the local identity.
