Balkan Architectural Biennale – BAB – a traditional event in the field of architecture, urban design, planning theory, art, and practice that was held for the second time in the period from 7 to 14th of December 2015., venue Yugoslav Film Archive, where major architectural and design events happened: Architectural – Urbanist exhibition, scientific conference and a series of accompanying lectures and workshops. The Biennale was officially opened by Arch. Milutin Folic- Belgrade’s City Urbanist, Marjan Vujovic -director of the Museum of the Yugoslav Film Archive, Arch. Pavle Vasev, Arh – author of the reconstruction design of the Yugoslav Film Archive Аrch. Tatjana Mrđenović – BAB Commissioner, and Art hist. Marko Stojanović – BAB director. Second Balkan Architectural Biennale was realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian Chamber of Engineers, the Yugoslav Film Archive, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, Collective for Space Integration and Architecture, American Planning Association.

BAB15 CATALOGUE
This regional manifestation brought together architects, space planners, designers, art historians, etc. Among the Balkan and wider region. In addition to participants from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Greece, and Turkey, BAB hosted participants from Great Britain, Germany, and Russia. The main theme of the Second Balkan Architectural Biennale was “Capital A”. At first glance, playing with form, meaning, and identity, the title of the BAB drew attention to the current architecture issues in the Balkans and wider region. On the one hand, the great achievements in the field of architecture experienced the materialization of the small size, while on the other hand to achieve very high in its surface, however, not so impressive in the field of identity.
In the spirit of BAB’sthreads, the international jury, which consisted of members from Serbia, Slovenia, Russia, Slovakia, Albania and Macedonia, has awarded the following prizes:
