BAB 2017 :: accompanying exhibition
Emilijan Josimović – 150 years of the first urbanistic plan of Belgrade within the trench.

“Through urbanity, to integrate integrity” – the motto of the exhibition, which is being held in the Museum of Science and Technology under the auspices of the Balkan Architectural Bienniale on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Belgrade’s first urban plan. The exhibition contains two segments:
1 // presentation of the key ideas of the concept of the first Serbian urbanist Emilijan Josimović for the transformation of part of Belgrade “in the trunk”, until then in the form of sacks and mahals (historical center – today: Kosančićev venac, Dorćol and Kalemegdan)
2 // overview of selected reconstructed façades of buildings in the Kosančićev Venec zone (realized in 2016-2017)
